Why Join GETA?
Your GETA membership does more than get you on the court — it connects you to a growing community of tennis players across the greater Elmira area and helps sustain the programs and partnerships that make local tennis possible.
Your membership is valid for 12 months from the date you enroll. You will receive a reminder email when your renewal is approaching. Membership is required to participate in all GETA events and activities for insurance purposes and to support GETA’s mission as a USTA Community Tennis Association and registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
A strong membership base also matters beyond the courts. Our discussions with Elmira College — negotiations that were not easy last summer — depend on our ability to demonstrate the size and strength of our organization. The more members we can show, the stronger our position as the leading tennis organization in the greater Elmira area.
What’s Included With Your Membership
All paid GETA members have access to:
Summer Doubles League Competitive team play running May through August on outdoor courts in the community.
Singles Ladder Ongoing singles competition at your own pace — challenge players at your level and work your way up.
Social Events We believe tennis is as much about community as competition. GETA hosts social get-togethers throughout the year — including a tennis social on August 8th. More details to come!
Member Directory Connect with other GETA members in our searchable members-only directory (opt-in at checkout).
Indoor Tennis & Doubles League Add-Ons Paid members can add Indoor Tennis access and the John Renz Co-ed Doubles League at discounted program rates. These are available from your account page after joining.
Membership Levels
All memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of enrollment and are non-recurring — you will never be billed automatically.
