Doubles Leagues

Co-ed means that all genders may play.

2026 GETA Doubles League:

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, May – August, 6:00 PM
Where: Pirozzolo Park (West Elmira) is available. Captains agree to play there or elsewhere prior to play date.
Who: All ages (teens welcome), multi-levels
Cost: $10 per person

Sign up via member portal add-ons. Reminder that you must be a paid member at the Individual or Family membership levels to sign up. Please include team name and captain so we can easily group you together. You can pay online in that process via PayPal or click pay by check and send in a check.

Details:

• Each team can have a maximum of 5 players (including a captain).
• Fees must be turned in BEFORE the first match (responsibility of the Captain).
• We will have three divisions
  • A League — Advanced (NTRP 3.6+)
    For the area’s top players. Many have college experience, play with pace and topspin, attack aggressively, and have few weaknesses.
  • B League — Intermediate (NTRP 2.5–3.5)
    For most adult players and high school varsity players. Dependable strokes, can sustain rallies, understands positioning, with some weaknesses.
  • C League — Developing (NTRP 1.0–2.0)
    For younger and developing players, beginners through those who have played less than ~2 years. Players at this level are building consistent strokes.
• Each division will have a season-ending tournament to determine the league division champions.

Scoring Rules:

• No ad scoring, receiving team decides receiver
• 7 point tiebreak at 6-6 in any set
• Split sets then play a 10 point tiebreaker for the match
